Venison is a highly nutritious, lean, and hypoallergenic novel protein source for dogs, ideal for managing food sensitivities and weight. It provides superior levels of iron, zinc, and B vitamins supporting immune health, energy levels, and a shiny coat. It is particularly beneficial for dogs with allergies to common proteins or those with sensitive digestive systems.
Sweet Potato is high in dietary fibre and great for digestive health. They are low in fat, contain vitamins B6, C, manganese, and are high in betacarotene.
Quinoa is a nutrient-dense ingredient that provides dogs with a range of essential nutrients, including protein, fibre, vitamins, and minerals. It is a gluten-free alternative to traditional grains, making it suitable for dogs with grain sensitivities. The high protein content aids in muscle development and maintenance, while the fibre supports digestive health.
An insoluble and non-fermentable fibre that passes through the digestive tract unchanged and is not fermented by the microbes in the hind gut and is not therefore an energy or nutrient source. Non-fermentable fibre is important because it acts a bit like a broom and ensures that food moves through the digestive tract in an orderly manner and doesn’t stagnate in any one place for too long.
